Amphipyra glabella, commonly known as the grey amphipyra or smooth amphipyra, is a species of moth belonging to the family Noctuidae. This species was first formally described by Herbert Knowles Morrison in 1874. It can be found in eastern regions of the United States and Canada. The wingspan of adult Amphipyra glabella ranges from 33 to 40 mm. Depending on location, adults are active in flight from August to September. This species produces one new generation each year.
