Ammoconia caecimacula (Denis & Schiffermüller), 1775 is a moth species in the Noctuidae family. It is distributed across most of Europe, with the exception of southern Spain, Great Britain, Ireland, and northern Fennoscandia. It can also be found in Anatolia, western Turkestan, and extends across the Palaearctic region to Siberia. In the eastern part of its range, the species is represented by the subspecies transcaucasica and sibirica. Adults of this species have a wingspan of 35 to 48 millimeters, and are active between August and October or November. The larvae of Ammoconia caecimacula feed on a wide variety of plants, including Cephalanthera damasonium, Rumex, Galium, Scrophularia, Genista, Taraxacum, and Silene. They prefer to feed on the flowers and fruits of these plants.
