Amanita pyramidifera D.A.Reid is a basidiomycete mushroom that belongs to the Amanita genus. Its cap ranges from 8 to 21 centimetres (3 to 8 and 1⁄2 inches) in diameter, and is covered in pyramid-shaped scales that can be white or greyish brown. The stem measures 5 to 9 cm (2 to 3 and 1⁄2 inches) in length, is white, and also bears pyramidal scales. This species is found in eastern Australia, where it grows in moist locations linked to eucalyptus forest or rainforest.
