Alyxia sinensis Champion ex Benth. is a flowering plant species belonging to the Apocynaceae family. It is native to China, Vietnam, and Taiwan, and it is currently threatened by habitat loss. This plant produces orange berries, and has leathery, eye-shaped leaves. Its leaves grow in whorls of 3 to 7 arranged opposite to one another on long twining vines. Seed formation begins in approximately one month after pollination, and seeds germinate in just over four months.
