About Alvaradoia disjecta (Rothschild, 1920)

Alvaradoia disjecta is a species of moth in the family Noctuidae, first formally described by Walter Rothschild in 1920. This moth is distributed in eastern Spain and south-eastern France. Its wingspan measures between 20 and 28 mm. Adults are most commonly active on the wing from June to July, though they have also been recorded in early September, which indicates the species likely has a second generation each year. The larvae of Alvaradoia disjecta feed on the leaves of Santolina chamaecyparissus.
