Allium tenuiflorum Ten. is a Mediterranean wild onion species. It is distributed across Algeria, Morocco, Libya, Italy (including Sardinia), and the Balkans. This species produces bulbs that can grow up to 20 mm in length. Its scape reaches a maximum height of 40 cm. It forms a lax umbel with uneven pedicels. The flowers are bell-shaped, with white tepals that have green or purple midveins, and white anthers. At flowering time, the ovary is yellow-green.
