Allium tel-avivense Eig is a plant species distributed across Israel, Palestine, Jordan, and Egypt, where it occurs on the Sinai Peninsula. This is a perennial species that grows from a bulb, and it produces a small umbel that holds only a small number of flowers. The tepals of Allium tel-avivense are pink, and it has a large, green ovary that is clearly visible. This species gets its scientific name from the city of Tel Aviv.
