Allium strictum Schrad. is a Eurasian species of wild onion. Its native range reaches from France all the way to Yakutia. This species produces one or two bulbs, each growing up to 8 millimeters in diameter. Its scape can reach a height of 80 centimeters. The leaves are flat and narrow, measuring around 4 millimeters wide, and are shorter than the scape. It forms spherical umbels with a large number of tightly crowded flowers. The tepals are rose-pink or reddish-purple, with a dark purple midvein. It typically grows on stony slopes and cliffs.
