About Allium brandegeei S.Watson
Allium brandegeei S.Watson is a plant species native to the western United States. It has been recorded in western Colorado, Utah, Idaho, eastern Oregon, Park County in Montana, and Elko County in Nevada. This species grows in sandy, rocky soil at elevations ranging from 1,200 to 3,300 metres, which equals 3,900 to 10,800 feet. Each individual plant produces 1 to 5 round to egg-shaped bulbs, with each bulb reaching up to 1.5 centimetres (0.59 inches) in diameter. Its flowers are bell-shaped, measuring up to 8 millimetres (0.31 inches) in length. The tepals of the flowers are white, with green or purple midveins.
