About Albizia inundata (Mart.) Barneby & J.W.Grimes
Pseudalbizzia inundata (synonymized scientific name: Albizia inundata (Mart.) Barneby & J.W.Grimes) is a perennial tree native to South America. Its common names are maloxo, muqum, paloflojo, timbo blanco, timbo-ata, and "canafistula" — though the name "canafistula" usually refers to Cassia fistula instead. This tree can grow to a maximum height of 20 meters. The leaves of Pseudalbizzia inundata contain dimethyltryptamine, which is a hallucinogenic drug. Its natural range extends from Brazil through Bolivia, Paraguay, and Uruguay to northern Argentina.
