Agrotis puta, commonly called the shuttle-shaped dart, is a species of moth belonging to the family Noctuidae. This species was first formally described by Jacob Hübner in 1803. It is common in western Europe, and can also be found in southern and central Europe, as well as in North Africa and the Middle East. This moth has a wingspan that measures between 30 and 32 millimeters. Adult Agrotis puta are active and in flight from May through October each year. The larvae of this moth feed on a variety of low-growing plants.
