About Agrochola bicolorago Guenée, 1852

Agrochola bicolorago, commonly known as the bicolored sallow or shield-backed cutworm, is a moth species belonging to the family Noctuidae. This species was first described by Achille Guenée in 1852. It can be found in Canada and the eastern half of the United States, with the exception of southern Florida. The wingspan of adult Agrochola bicolorago ranges from 28 to 38 mm. Adults are active on the wing from August to December in the southern parts of its range, and from September to November in the northern parts of its range.
