About Agoseris hirsuta (Hook.) Greene

Agoseris hirsuta resembles the common dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) in that it does not produce leafy stems. It instead grows only a rosette of leaves that sits close to the ground. It bears a single flower head, which contains many yellow ray florets and no disc florets.
