Agonum sexpunctatum (Linnaeus, 1758) is a species of ground beetle that favors wet habitats and is native to peatland ecosystems. It is originally from the Palearctic region and the Near East. Within Europe, it has been recorded in Albania, Belarus, Benelux, the Baltic states, Finland, France, Italy, Liechtenstein, Portugal, Russia, Scandinavia, Spain, Ukraine, the former Yugoslavian states, and Central Europe. This species is not present in Ireland.
