About Agarista populifolia (Lam.) Judd
Agarista populifolia (Lam.) Judd is a plant species in the family Ericaceae, commonly known as Florida hobblebush. It gets this common name because it grows into dense, difficult-to-penetrate thickets. This is an evergreen shrub with often arching stems. Small white flowers grow on the underside of its arching branches. It is native to the southeastern United States, where it grows in moist to wet woodlands.
