Agapostemon virescens, commonly called the bicolored striped sweat bee, is a species of sweat bee that belongs to the family Halictidae. This bee is native to North America, and it holds the status of being the official bee of the city of Toronto. Like other species in the Agapostemon genus, A. virescens constructs its nests underground. It nests in aggregations, where multiple female bees share a single common burrow.
