Agalinis edwardsiana Pennell is a sparsely bushy herb that reaches a maximum height of 40 centimeters. It bears narrowly linear leaves, and its small but showy pale pink to purple flowers grow singly on short stems from leaf nodes. This species is native to the Edwards Plateau region of Texas, where it grows on limestone and in thin, limestone-derived soils.
