Aethes mymara, commonly known as the dark-spotted aethes, is a species of moth belonging to the family Tortricidae. This species was described and named by Razowski in 1997. It is native to North America, with confirmed records from south-eastern Canada and the north-eastern United States. Confirmed locations where the species has been recorded include Connecticut, Indiana, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Ontario, Tennessee, and Washington. The wingspan of adult Aethes mymara measures 16 millimetres (0.63 in). Active adult moths have been recorded in flight from May through August each year.
