About Aeonium glandulosum (Aiton) Webb & Berthel.
Aeonium glandulosum (Aiton) Webb & Berthel. is a glandular-pubescent subshrub that can be biennial or perennial. It has a very short stem that is hidden by its leaves, and the species is occasionally stoloniferous. Its leaves grow in flat, plate-like rosettes that become dome-shaped at the center when flowering season approaches. Mature leaf rosettes reach 30 centimeters (12 inches) in diameter. It produces loose inflorescences that measure 30 by 45 centimeters (12 inches × 18 inches). The inflorescences have pedicels 3–19 millimeters (0.12–0.75 inches) long that curve toward their distal end. Its petals are 7–10 millimeters (0.28–0.39 inches) long, pale yellow, and occasionally tinged with red. This species is endemic to Madeira Island, Porto Santo Island, the Desertas Islands, and Bugio Island. It is commonly found on sea cliffs on northern shores and on rocky peaks, growing at altitudes from sea level up to 700 metres (2,300 ft).
