Aechmea ramosa Mart. ex Schult. & Schult.f. is a plant species that belongs to the genus Aechmea. This species is endemic to eastern Brazil. Two varieties of the species are currently recognized: Aechmea ramosa var. festiva L.B.Sm., which is found in Espírito Santo, and Aechmea ramosa var. ramosa, which is found in Bahia. Many different cultivars of Aechmea ramosa have been recorded.
