Adhemarius dariensis is a moth species that belongs to the Sphingidae family. This species has been recorded in Costa Rica, Mexico, Nicaragua, and Panama. Males of the species have a wingspan ranging from 107 to 111 mm, while the recorded female wingspan is 124 mm. It is thought that adult Adhemarius dariensis can be seen in flight throughout the entire year. It is also believed that the larvae of this moth feed on plants from the Ocotea genus, including the species Ocotea veraguensis, Ocotea atirrensis, and Ocotea dendrodaphne.
