Adenocarpus foliolosus (Aiton) DC. is a shrubby species of flowering plant. It belongs to the legume family Fabaceae, subfamily Faboideae. It is known locally as codeso, and its common name is Canary Island flatpod. This species is endemic to the Canary Islands, and it occurs on the islands of Tenerife, La Gomera, El Hierro, Gran Canaria and La Palma. Its characteristics include yellow flowers, compound leaves with short petioles 1–3 millimetres (0.039–0.118 in) long, and a narrow, oblong legume that bears sparse glands.
