Aculepeira carbonarioides is a species of spider that belongs to the orb-weaver family Araneidae. This spider is most often found living in rocky crevices on slopes covered with boulders, located at or near the tree line. It has been recorded from multiple regions across Canada, including Alberta, British Columbia, the Northwest Territory, Quebec, and the Yukon Territory, as well as multiple states in the United States, including Alaska, Colorado, New Hampshire, Utah, and Wyoming. According to reports, A. carbonarioides remains positioned in the center of its web throughout daylight hours.
