Acronicta vinnula, commonly known as the delightful dagger moth, is a moth species belonging to the family Noctuidae. Its distribution ranges from Nova Scotia south to Florida, extending west to Texas, and north to Wisconsin and Ontario. This moth has a wingspan of 28 to 32 mm. Adult delightful dagger moths are active in flight from April to August, with activity timing varying by location. There are at least two generations of this moth per year. The larvae of Acronicta vinnula feed on elm leaves.
