Acronicta tritona, commonly known as the Triton dagger moth, is a moth species that belongs to the family Noctuidae. Jacob Hübner first described this species in 1818. This moth is native to eastern North America, where its range extends from Nova Scotia west to northeastern Alberta, south to Florida and Texas, and further west to Oregon. The wingspan of adult Acronicta tritona measures between 35 and 40 mm. The larvae of this species feed on Helonias bullata and various species in the Vaccinium genus, including species from the Oxycoccos group and Vaccinium stamineum.
