Acronicta noctivaga Grote, 1864, commonly known as the night-wandering dagger moth, is a moth species belonging to the family Noctuidae. This species is distributed in northeastern North America, with confirmed occurrences in Wisconsin, New York, Maryland, and Ontario. The wingspan of adult night-wandering dagger moths is approximately 32 millimeters. Depending on the local location, adults can be seen in flight from May through August. The only recorded food plant for this species is poplar.
