Acronicta heitzmani, commonly known as Heitzman's dagger moth, is a moth species that belongs to the Noctuidae family. This species was first formally described by Charles V. Covell and Eric H. Metzler in 1992. It can be found in the U.S. states of Missouri, Arkansas, Illinois, and Ohio. The forewing length of this moth shows slight sexual dimorphism: male individuals have forewings that measure between 12 and 14.5 millimeters, while female individuals have forewings ranging from 12.5 to 15 millimeters in length.
