About Acronicta fallax

Acronicta fallax, commonly known as the green marvel moth, is a moth species belonging to the family Noctuidae. This species was first formally described by Gottlieb August Wilhelm Herrich-Schäffer in 1854. It can be found across most of North America, ranging from the Canadian provinces of Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Manitoba, southward to the US states of Arizona and Florida. The wingspan of Acronicta fallax measures approximately 34 mm. In Florida, adult individuals of this species are active in flight from February through November.
