Acronicta connecta, commonly known as the connected dagger moth, is a moth species belonging to the family Noctuidae. This moth is distributed in an area ranging from the Great Lakes region to central New England, extending south to Florida and west to Texas and Utah. The connected dagger moth has a wingspan of 30 to 40 millimeters, or 1.2 to 1.6 inches. Adult connected dagger moths are active from May to August, with the exact timing varying based on location. The larvae of this species feed on the leaves of plants from the Salix genus.
