Acromyrmex disciger is a species of leaf-cutter ant first described by Mayr in 1887. It is a New World ant that belongs to the subfamily Myrmicinae and the genus Acromyrmex. This species falls into one of the two genera of advanced attines, which are also known as fungus-growing ants, within the tribe Attini. It naturally occurs in the wild in Paraguay.
