Acourtia nana, commonly known as desert holly or dwarf desertpeony, is a North American perennial plant species belonging to the family Asteraceae. It occurs in the Sonoran and Chihuahuan Desert regions, which span the southwestern United States including Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas, and northern Mexico including Chihuahua, Coahuila, Nuevo León, San Luis Potosí, Sonora, and Zacatecas. Its flowers are rarely seen, and they carry a scent similar to jasmine or violets.
