About Acleris bowmanana (McDunnough, 1934)
Acleris bowmanana is a moth species belonging to the family Tortricidae. It is native to North America, and has been specifically recorded in Alberta, British Columbia, California, Maine, Manitoba, Maryland, Michigan, New Brunswick, Ontario, Quebec, West Virginia, and Wisconsin. Male individuals have a wingspan of approximately 22 millimeters, while female individuals have a wingspan between 18 and 20 millimeters. Recorded adult flight activity occurs from January through November. The larvae of Acleris bowmanana feed on Myrica gale, Picea engelmannii, Picea glauca, Aronia melanocarpa, and species from the genera Spiraea and Rubus.
