Achyra massalis, commonly known as the ombava, is a moth species belonging to the family Crambidae. It was first described by Francis Walker in 1859. This species occurs across most of the Old World tropics, with confirmed records from Réunion, Namibia, and Australia (including the Australian states of New South Wales, Queensland, and Western Australia). Adults of Achyra massalis have a wingspan of approximately 20 millimetres, or 0.79 inches.
