Acanthocinus griseus is a species of longhorn beetle belonging to the subfamily Lamiinae. This species was originally described by Johan Christian Fabricius in 1792, and it can be found across Europe, Russia, and Asia Minor. Adult individuals of this beetle measure between 8 and 13 millimetres in length, and their total lifespan is approximately 1 to 2 years. These beetles inhabit coniferous trees from the genera Pinus, Picea, and Abies, and they are also known to live on oak trees.
