Morphology Abutilon pannosum has velvety leaves with a cordate base. The lower leaf surface has a wooly appearance, while the upper leaf surface is somewhat scabrous. Leaf petioles range in length from 1.5 cm to 8 cm. This species has erect stems, a yellow-orange corolla with a dark red or purple base, and brownish-black, oval-shaped seeds.

Distribution Abutilon pannosum is native to multiple countries across tropical Africa, the Horn of Africa, as well as Yemen, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, India, and Pakistan.
