Abutilon oxycarpum (F.Muell.) Benth. is a perennial herb. It generally grows between 0 and 1.8 meters (0 and 5 feet 11 inches) tall, and usually does not exceed 0.9 meters (2 feet 11 inches) in height. Occasionally, specimens can grow taller, reaching a maximum height of 2.5 meters (8 feet 2 inches). Its leaves are heart-shaped, with fairly prominent visible veins. Leaf margins are toothed, and both the leaves and stems are slightly hairy. This species flowers from May through September or October.
